Fundraising - how you can help!

One of the questions members of other bands most often seem to ask is "If you don't charge your members "subs" how on earth do you finance the band?"  Well the answer is simple, of course!  We spend our summer weekends earning money at church fetes, carnivals etc. and the whole of the run-up to Christmas getting cold and miserable playing carols and collecting money from the unsuspecting public!  This just about keeps the band's finances on an even keel, providing there are no unexpected items of expenditure.  However, should we need new instruments, uniforms or music, should the bandroom roof spring a leak or the heating pack up, then we have to find other sources of ready cash!  This means you!

So how can you help?

Well, first of all, you could just give us money!!  We do have a few kind souls who do that - they make a regular donation to band funds. If you would like to do that, Dorothy would be delighted to hear from you  (especially if you are a tax-payer and would like to Gift-aid it)!!

A second possibility is, that you could employ us!  Do you have an event coming off that would be improved by having a band playing at it?  Weddings, Birthday parties, fetes, conferences - you name it!  Dorothy will be glad to arrange the details!

We also have various items for sale in aid of Band funds.  All the prices quoted are subject to the addition of postage costs
