Dear Friend of the Band,

May I invite you to support our “Swinton Band 50+ club”, which aims to boost the band’s income while also giving you a chance to win monthly cash prizes.

Numbers between 1 and 50 (or up to 99 if we can attract sufficient interest) are allocated for the year to “50+ club members”, at a cost of £1 per month.  About half the money is returned in prizes, the remainder goes to the band’s funds, to help meet on-going costs like heating, lighting and water charges for the bandroom.

To become a member you must be at least 16 years of age and be willing to commit £1 a month for a year.  We hope you can persuade lots of friends and relatives to join us, and you can increase your chances of winning by taking on more than one number.  If we can reach a membership of 80 an extra monthly prize will be given, but we will limit membership to 99 numbers.

A copy of the Club Rules and application forms are available here.  We hope to start the monthly draws in June 11 but we can only go ahead if we have allocated the first 50 numbers.  If you have a favourite (or indeed bogey) numbers please return your application quickly, as we can only allocate a number once.
